DCA hosts successful week of meetings in Washington, DC

The Dredging Contractors of America had a successful week of board and membership meetings with industry guests and speakers.


Hitting on all cylinders, the roundtables included:

  • strong maritime industry supporter Congressman Clay Higgins of Louisiana— the “Congressional office of the Jones Act.”


Congressman Rick Larssen of Washington, Ranking Member of the U.S. House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee sat down with DCA members and Maritime Labor’s MEBA, AMO-SIU, MM&P and the AFL-CIO’s Transportation Trades Department to discuss the Jones Act, shipbuilding, national security and dredging.
