On April 9th the King Company of Holland, Michigan officially joined the DCA, bringing to the association 36 years of dredging and marine construction expertise on the Great Lakes. King specializes in a wide array of construction services, including hydraulic dredging, marine construction, earth retention systems, foundation piling, and deep foundations. Since 1983 King has continually provided the highest level of service, combining design/build experience and extensive equipment, resources and personnel to deliver cost-effective and practical construction solutions.
Michael Gerhardt, Vice President of the DCA, states, “The King Company has an excellent and proven track record for routinely performing critical dredging projects on the Great Lakes. Year after year they deliver for the Army Corps and the nation. We look forward to working closely with them on both regional and national issues and welcome them as our 28th member company.”
In FY18 alone the King Company was awarded and commenced work on the following U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-funded dredging projects: Grand Haven Harbor (Inner and Outer), Holland Harbor (Inner and Outer), St. Joe Harbor (Outer), White Lake Harbor, Frankfort Harbor, New Buffalo Harbor, and South Haven Harbor.
