DCA Annual Report

Every spring the Dredging Contractors of America publishes, for its member companies and the Corps of Engineers, its annual report entitled “Analysis of Dredging Contracts Awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers”.  It is based upon bid abstracts provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District Contracting Officers, the Corps’ Navigation Data Center database and input from the dredging companies who bid on these contracts.  The report presents a clear picture of industry trends and market dynamics at both the Corps district and division levels, quantifies competitiveness across the industry, ranks winning bidders based on revenue and classifies projects by their bid type, such as Hubzone Set-aside and 8(a) Set-aside. Additionally, the DCA Annual Report tracks small business goals and serves as a cross-checking vehicle to the Corps’ Dredging Information System.  The FY 2011 Annual Report was published in February of 2012.
